The Portland Beavers got a sterling performance from center fielder Pedro Savino III, but the Seattle Rainiers still prevailed, 11-10. Savino III went 4-6 with a home run, 3 singles, and 2 walks. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. The Rainiers have an impressive 86-51 record.

The Rainiers got a clutch hit from second baseman Kevin Allen. In the bottom of the 13th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Rainiers.

"This was one of those 'not to be denied' games," said Seattle field general Ulrath Unclean.
