Eagles Suffer 5-0 Loss to Reno

The Dallas Eagles and Reno Silver Sox delighted fans at Alamo Park.
David Bright, who is tied for 5th in the PL in wins with 13, was terrific for the Reno Silver Sox in his team's 5-0 triumph over the Dallas Eagles. His performance earned Bright rave reviews. Bright yielded no runs over 6.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 4 hits, walked 0, and struck out 9. His record improves to 13-6.
Otto Reed, who finished 4th in the PL in RBI with 104 in 2005, chipped in a 2-run home run for Reno in the bottom of the third. For the game, the third baseman had 3 hits in 4 at-bats with 1 home run, 2 singles, 1 run scored, and 3 runs batted in.
"We played a good game and came out on top," said Reed.
Reno, at 69-72, holds down 4th place in the Pioneer League South.
