San Francisco and Mexico City played a hard-fought contest.

Emory Burch was locked in. The left-hander led the San Francisco Seals to a 3-2 win against the Mexico City Aztecs at Estadio Tenochtitlan. Tyler Patterson picked up the win in relief. His record improves to 7-5. Alfredo García suffered the loss.

Dani Marín made it 3-2, in favor of San Francisco when he delivered a run-scoring single. It came with two out in the top of the ninth. The Seals went on to win.

"Tough loss," said Mexico City manager Jaime Martinez. "But that's how the cookie crumbles."

San Francisco is in last place in the Pacific Coast League North with a record of 64-76.
