The Reno Silver Sox picked up a win at Alamo Park, knocking off the Dallas Eagles, 7-2. Starting pitcher Joshua Santana was a big reason why. In 6.2 innings, Santana surrendered 6 hits, while striking out 6 and walking 2. He allowed 2 runs. Reno has now won 3 straight, while the Eagles have lost 3 in a row.

Culley Delaney had a big 2-run home run for the Silver Sox in the bottom of the first inning. The result was his 13th home run of the season, which put the Silver Sox on top, 4-0.

"We need to keep playing good baseball," Delaney told the Reno Chronicle.
