The Las Vegas Strip took Austin pitcher Rafael Infante's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Clark Field. The final score had Las Vegas getting past the Cowboys, 4-3. Infante went 6 innings and allowed 2 runs, striking out 4. With the win, Las Vegas climbs to 4-2.

Las Vegas used the timely hitting of Jorge Mendoza to seize the win. The right fielder stroked a 2-run single in the top of the eighth inning to put the Strip on top, 4-3. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a game-changer.

"We'll enjoy this win for now, but it's just one," Mendoza told local reporters. "We've got to keep it going."
