The Dallas Eagles picked up a win at Nicollet Park, knocking off the Minneapolis Millers, 5-3. On the mound for Dallas was left-hander Jorge Anaya, who played a pivotal role in the win. Ernie Lynch nailed down his 8th save. The win puts the Eagles at 65-81, while the Millers drop to 67-78.

António Lara, the former first overall pick , had a direct impact on the outcome. Lara contributed a run-scoring single in the top of the fourth inning to put Dallas up, 1-0.

"If we play like this, we can win a lot of games," Lara told the Dallas Herald.
