The home crowd had a good time watching the Salt Lake City Locusts and Las Vegas Strip get after it.

The Las Vegas Strip topped the Salt Lake City Locusts by a score of 10-4. Leading the way was first baseman Ming Loong. Loong was 2 for 3 with 2 home runs and a walk. He scored 3 runs and drove in 5 for the Strip. Las Vegas, with the win, is 48-97.

Jorge Mendoza dealt the Locusts a blow in the bottom of the third. Batting with the bases loaded and Las Vegas trailing 3-2, Mendoza hit a first pitch fastball for a 2-run single.

"The team always comes first, so pulling out the win on a day like today is the most important thing," Loong told a reporter while responding to autograph requests. "Our fans like to come out to see a win, so I'm happy to do what I can to give them that."
