Millers Get Past Salt Lake City for 5-4 Win
The Minneapolis Millers knocked off the Salt Lake City Locusts, 5-4, in Pioneer League action at Nicollet Park. Minneapolis pitcher and Mason, Ohio, native Donald Richter had an outstanding performance. The Minneapolis winning streak has reached 4 games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Juan Castro in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 24-year old left-handed pitcher Irving Rose to win the game for Minneapolis. The home crowd went nuts.

"It's what good teams do, find a way to win," said Richter.
