The Sacramento Ironhorse racked up a win at Ironhorse Stadium, bumping off the Mexico City Aztecs, 6-5, in 12 innings. Mick Hammond, who started for Sacramento, pitched effectively for his team. Sacramento is now 79-70.

The clutch at-bat came in the bottom of the 12th inning, when Sacramento third baseman Norberto Ramírez, facing Alfredo García, had a run-scoring sacrifice fly. It gave the Ironhorse the 6-5 win.

"We didn't let this one get away," said Hammond.
