The Hollywood Stars stormed past the New Orleans Pelicans, 14-5, at Gilmore Field. Hollywood center fielderRamiro López , who finished 2nd in the CL in stolen bases with 35 last year, led the hit parade. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. The winning continues for Hollywood, with the latest triumph making it 8 straight.

With Hollywood trailing 2-1 in the bottom of the first, López hit a changeup from Ray Alexander for a grand slam home run. It was his 4th home run of the season and put the Stars ahead, 5-2.
