Yetis Rally to Eke Out Win
Salt Lake City second baseman Jesús Sánchez had a good game in a losing cause. His team fell, 8-7, to Homer at Derks Field. Sánchez went 2-4 with a home run and a walk. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Even with the win, the Yetis have a dismal 52-101 record.

Homer used the clutch hitting of Dan Koch to capture the win. The third baseman drilled a solo home run in the top of the 11th inning to put the Yetis ahead, 8-7. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was a big one.

"It wasn't our best performance," said Koch, "but a win in this league is nothing to sniff at."
