The Reno Silver Sox defeated the Austin Cowboys, 8-6, in Pioneer League action at Alamo Park. Reno pitcher Joshua Santana had a standout performance. Leonard Burton, who is tied for 2nd in the PL in saves with 31, nailed down the save. The win boosted Reno to 78-75.

The Cowboys had little chance against Santana, who overpowered Austin hitters and struck out 11.

"Joshua showed up tonight," said Reno manager Zach Ames.
