Angels Suffer 7-2 Loss to Sacramento
|
The Sacramento Ironhorse got a stellar performance from pitcher Mick Hammond, who handcuffed the Los Angeles offense en route to a win, 7-2, at Ironhorse Stadium. The Ironhorse sit in second place in the Pacific Coast League South with a record of 82-72.
Making an impact for Sacramento was second baseman Gunnar Crawford. He drilled a double off Jarred Nash in the bottom of the fourth. For the game, Crawford was 2-4 with a double.
"I'm happy we won," said Hammond. "That's first and foremost. My goal is for the team to win the day I pitch, however it's done."
