The San Jose Owls received a superlative performance from starting pitcher Jason Stewart, allowing them to bump off the Seattle Rainiers, 5-1. In 8 innings, Stewart surrendered 4 hits, while striking out 3 and walking 3. He allowed 1 run. With the victory, the Owls upped their record to 84-72.
