José Vásquez helped his team muscle past the Homer Yetis, 6-5. In the game, the Minneapolis right fielder was 2-4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once. Minneapolis is now 26-33.

The defining moment came in the bottom of the ninth for Minneapolis. That's when Steve Graves hit a 2-run double off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Robert Rice to win the game. The home crowd went wild.
