Silver Sox Walk It Off for 83rd Win of Season
The Reno Silver Sox stopped the Houston Lone Stars, 5-4, at Alamo Park. The Silver Sox got a big game from Otto Reed, who was 4-5 with a home run, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. Reno reliever Leonard Burton snagged the win, upping his record to 3-9. Tony Antonio shouldered the loss. The win puts the Silver Sox at 83-78, while the Lone Stars drop to 88-73.

The decisive blow was delivered by Hayden Reese in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a run-scoring double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Tony Antonio to win the game for Reno. The home crowd went nuts.

Reno manager Zach Ames called it "a pretty good win."
