Ine Helps Millers Defeat Locusts, 5-2
Led by Hisashi Ine, the Minneapolis Millers downed the Salt Lake City Locusts, 5-2. Ine went 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Millers. Billy McBurie came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The left-hander allowed no runs on 1 hit in 3.1 innings. His record now stands at 3-1. The 5th-place Millers are now 28-36, the Locusts 31-33.

With the game tied, 2-2, in the bottom of the fifth, Ine had a key at-bat for Minneapolis. With runners on 2nd and 3rd, Ine hit a 2-run single off Augusto Villarreal, making the score 4-2, Millers.

"See ball, hit ball. When I think too much, that's when I get in trouble," Ine told the Minneapolis Citizen.
