The Homer Yetis took San Diego pitcher Álex Cabrera's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Bombers Ballpark. The final score had Homer getting past the Breakers, 4-3. Cabrera went 8 innings and allowed 3 runs, striking out 5. Homer reliever Robert Rice picked up the win, raising his record to 3-8. José Romero was tagged with the loss. San Diego is still trying to get off the schneid, having lost 6 in a row.

Homer got a game-changing hit from José Molina. The left fielder blasted a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a winner.

"Walking a team off at the end -- there's no greater feeling," said Molina.
