Ruhl Hits 2 home runs in Millers Win
The Minneapolis Millers beat the Kansas City Jacks, 8-5, at Arthur Bryant Ballpark. Minneapolis first baseman Chris Ruhl had an outstanding performance. He hit 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Minneapolis reliever Darwin Madden picked up the win, raising his record to 3-2. Carter Smith was tagged with the loss. Dan Rochefort closed it out for his 5th save.

Ruhl contributed a big hit, a 3-run home run, for Minneapolis in the top of the third. With his team trailing 3-1, Ruhl took a cutter from Román González and stroked the home run to right-center. His 4th home run of the season allowed the Millers to leap in front, 4-3.

"It's nice to deliver when your team's counting on you," said Ruhl.

The loss makes Kansas City 38-29.
