Minneapolis Gets Riveting Walk-Off Win
The Minneapolis Millers outlasted Chris Gibson and the Salt Lake City Locusts, 9-7. Gibson was impressive in the loss. The Salt Lake City left fielder hit 2 home runs, while adding 3 RBI and scoring twice. With the win, the Millers improved to 31-37.

The decisive blow was delivered by José Vásquez in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a 2-run home run off 28-year old right-handed pitcher Mark Cahill to win the game for Minneapolis. The home crowd went nuts.

"Sometimes you get the ball in the right spot and it goes," said Vásquez.
