Cowboys Get Extra-Inning, 4-3 Win
The Austin Cowboys took Las Vegas pitcher Jesús García's best shot and still were able to claim a win at Clark Field. The final score had Austin getting past the Strip, 4-3. García went 6 innings and allowed 1 run, striking out 8. The triumph puts Austin at 38-33 for the season.

The Cowboys got a clutch hit from second baseman Wilson Pérez. In the bottom of the 11th, he delivered a run-scoring single to win the game for the Cowboys.

"The crowd was juiced," said Pérez.
