Stallions Lose Again, 3-1, to Ports
|
Long Beach starter Cristo Alvarado pitched well against the San Bernardino Stallions at Tapatio Park. The right-hander led his team to a win, 3-1. Alvarado yielded no runs over 7.1 innings to notch the win. He scattered 6 hits, walked 1, and struck out 9. His record improves to 7-3. With the win, Long Beach goes to 36-35, while the Stallions fall to 20-52.
Ming Loong had a critical at-bat with one out in the bottom of the sixth for Long Beach. He came through with a 2-run single to put Long Beach in front, 3-0.
