The Salt Lake City Locusts stopped the Austin Cowboys, 7-2, behind an impressive performance from Pedro Rodríguez. The 31-year old center fielder made life miserable for Austin pitching. He was 3-4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 and driving in 2. The winning pitcher was Augusto Villarreal. He's now 6-2. He went 7 innings, allowing 2 runs on 7 hits for the Locusts. The third-place Cowboys have lost 4 consecutive games.
