Raucous Higgins Park Crowd Propels Pelicans to 5-2 Victory; Series Tied at 2
The New Orleans Pelicans topped the Las Vegas Strip by the score of 5-2 and moved into a 2-2 tie in the League Championship Series today. The largest share of the credit belongs to New Orleans starter Andre Parks, who threw 6.0 innings allowing 2 runs in the win.

New Orleans took a 4-2 lead in the bottom of the eighth inning, when Noel Floyd hit a clutch 2-run home run to bring Pelicans fans to their feet.

"Throwing strikes was the main thing," Parks said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Higgins Park in New Orleans.
