Stars Hammered by Mejía, Drop Game 4 to Owls
The San Jose Owls defeated the Hollywood Stars, 11-9, in Game 4 of the Wild Card Series. Making an impact was third baseman Pablo Mejía, who went 5-5 with a home run, a triple, a double, and 2 singles, while scoring 3 times and driving in 4. The win moves San Jose into a 2-2 tie with Hollywood in the series.

Mejía had an important at-bat with the bases loaded in the bottom of the eighth, when he hit a 2-run double. The Owls went on to win.

San Jose manager Sean Hogan was pleased with the team's effort. "Our guys went out there and put good wood on the ball," he said.

The next game is set to be played tomorrow at Ballpark of San Jose in San Jose.
