Host Owls Drop Pivotal Game 5, Now Trail Series 3-2
The Hollywood Stars moved to within one game of the League Championship Series, downing the San Jose Owls on the road at Ballpark of San Jose by a score of 8-4. Stars right fielder Marcos Garza was 3 for 4 with a double and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs. The win gives the Stars a 3-2 advantage in the best-of-7 Wild Card Series.

Hollywood used the hitting of José Cruz to pick up the win. The left fielder clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the third inning to put the Stars on top, 3-0. For the game, Cruz had 1 home run and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Cruz told the Hollywood Daily. "It's as simple as that."

The next game is set to be played for Wednesday, October 14th , 2015 at Gilmore Field in Los Angeles.
