Hollywood Moves on to Series of the West
The Hollywood Stars are one step closer to winning a Series of the West, and the season came to a close for the Long Beach Ports.

Hollywood won the League Championship Series 4-1, with a 8-7 victory in the deciding game at Tapatio Park today.

Hollywood right fielder Marcos Garza was named the MVP of the series, after hitting .565 with a .615 on-base percentage. He had 1 homers, drove in 7 RBI and scored 7 runs.

"I just hope I can keep it up in the Series of the West," he said.

The Hollywood Stars don't know who they will face in the next round. They will play the winner of the Phoenix Fireballs - Salt Lake City Locusts series. Phoenix leads the series 3 games to 2. The Series of the West schedule will be announced after the League Championship Series finishes.
