Reno turned a good effort from starter Luis Reyes into a win over the New Orleans Pelicans at Alamo Park. The final score was 2-0. The Silver Sox bumped their record to 42-39 with this latest triumph.

Reyes, who dominated for Reno, earned the victory to move to 8-5. He was in control the whole game, scattering 1 hit over 6.2 innings, while striking out 6. New Orleans batters could never bunch up enough hits to produce a rally.

"Luis just settled in and did what he does," said Reno manager Zach Ames.
