Setback for San Diego and Félix Rodríguez Monday, June 1st , 2015 All is not well with Félix Rodríguez in his recovery from a knee contusion. The 36-year-old Breakers center fielder has already reached some significant steps in his rehabilitation, but his manager said that the team will continue to be cautious with Rodríguez and take his progression one day at a time, especially after the setback yesterday. "Yesterday he was feeling good but he didn't do a lot on the field," he said. "Today he was supposed to be on the field doing light stuff and then gradually start working right back up. I think he overdid it." A post-workout examination revealed that Rodríguez had re-injured himself and would now miss at least one week because of it. Rodríguez is currently hitting at a .323 pace with 9 home runs, 20 RBIs and has scored 43 times. |
