Vásquez Wins PL Player of the Week Monday, April 29th , 2013 Reno Silver Sox right fielder José Vásquez rose above the controversy surrounding his soon-to-expire contract, thriving under pressure last week and copping the Player of the Week award in the Pioneer League. Vásquez put up a .579 batting average (11-for-19) with 2 home runs, 4 RBIs and scored 6 times.
