McGowan, McRobert Swap Teams Monday, July 13th , 2015 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Sacramento Ironhorse and the Kansas City Jacks have agreed to a deal that will have 22-year old minor league C Michael McGowan, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick heading to Kansas City in exchange for 33-year old RHP Tim McRobert. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Kansas City will retain a portion of McRobert's remaining contract. To date this season, McRobert has registered 13 starts, 2-6 won-lost mark, 4.00 ERA, 72 IP, 36 strikeouts and 20 walks. Opposing teams have hit .245 against him. |
