Seattle Trades Gabriel to Sacramento for Jackson
Monday, March 14th , 2016
Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Rainiers announced today the acquisition of 30-year old LHP Charlie Jackson from the Sacramento Ironhorse in exchange for 37-year old RHP Pedro Gabriel and a 1st round draft pick. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Rainiers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams."

Since coming into the league, Gabriel has a 100-103 mark and a 3.89 ERA. The 37-year-old hurler also has struck out 1932 batters in 1786.1 innings and permitted 1633 hits.

In his lifetime numbers Jackson has a 136-77 won-lost record with a 3.43 ERA.
