3-Homer Hat Trick for Hernández Saturday, April 9th , 2016 The Homer Yetis won't soon forget the display of raw power by Diego Hernández of the Phoenix Fireballs. He victimized the Yetis by pounding three pitches out of Bombers Ballpark to spark his club to a win, 13-3. "I got three pitches down the pipe and popped them," Hernández told reporters. "Today I was in a groove. Tomorrow, I could just pop up the same pitches and go 0-for-3." In addition to the homers, he collected 5 RBIs and scored 4 runs. Diego Hernández hit a solo-shot off Barry Jennings in the 2nd, hit a two-run home run off Barry Jennings in the 4th, hit a two-run home run off Barry Jennings in the 5th, singled in the 7th and struck out in the 8th.
