Elías Cracks 3 HRs for Denver Tuesday, September 29th , 2015 Every now and then, everything just comes together. Sebastiano Elías discovered that today at Jellystone Park, as he smashed three home runs during the 13-2 Denver Grizzlies win over the Kansas City Jacks. "I got three balls to hit and nailed all three of them," the Denver first baseman said in his postgame interview. "The first was a hanging curve, the second was right down the middle and the last one was a good pitch, but I guessed right and put the wood to it." Elías, who finished 2nd in the PL in RBI with 118 last year, finished the day with 3 hits in 5 at-bats and 10 RBIs. Sebastiano Elías struck out in the 2nd, hit a GRAND SLAM off Ken Roy in the 3rd, hit a two-run home run off Xu-gang Lau in the 4th, struck out in the 6th and hit a GRAND SLAM off Don Follett in the 8th. For the year, Elías is hitting .299 with 39 home runs. His stats include 123 runs batted in and 95 runs scored. |
