CL's Best Player, Valenzuela of Long Beach Monday, May 2nd , 2016 Carlos Valenzuela did nothing to hurt his value as an upcoming free agent last week, making contact with the ball at every opportunity and reeling in the Pacific Coast League Player of the Week Award. The left fielder hit .522 for the Ports, recording 12 hits in 23 at-bats, 3 home runs, 9 RBIs and 7 runs scored. Thus far this season, Valenzuela has hit .419 with 5 home runs, 25 RBIs and scored 18 times. |
