Mexico City Defeats San Jose, 5-4, García Nabs 300th Save Tuesday, May 3rd , 2016 As the last out was recorded, a huge smile spread over the face of Mexico City Aztecs famed reliever Alfredo García. The outstanding bullpen performer, well-known for his intimidating scowl while on the hill, had good reason to smile. He had just secured his 300th-career save in the Aztecs 5-4 win over the San Jose Owls. "I take this game seriously, but how can you not smile when you accomplish something like this?" he said. García's teammates swarmed the mound after the milestone victory, as if the club had just won a pennant or league championship. In the save, García allowed no runs in 1 innings and gave up no hits.
