MacSwen on Fire, 5-for-5 Against Dallas
Friday, May 6th , 2016
It was a sensational day at the plate for Jonathan MacSwen as he led the charge to a nifty 7-4 win over the Eagles. The Los Angeles first baseman was pure misery for the Dallas pitching staff. He left them shell-shocked with 5 hits in 5 at-bats in an explosive display of hitting.
"MacSwen put the ball into play and he really hit it hard," said Cameron J, manager for the Eagles, after the game. "When you do that, you've got a good chance to do some damage. And that's what happened. I feel like we threw some good pitches, but he just put some good swings on the ball."
Jonathan MacSwen singled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, singled in the 7th and hit a three-run home run off Fred Davis in the 9th.
MacSwen is batting .316 with 6 home runs and 26 RBIs this season.
