Miller and Rice Traded Monday, May 30th , 2016 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Long Beach Ports and the Phoenix Fireballs have agreed to a deal that will have 34-year old RHP Kyle Arnold, 24-year old minor league LF Dwayne Miller, a 3rd round draft pick, and a 5th round draft pick heading to Phoenix in exchange for 28-year old C Eric Rice and 31-year old RHP Héctor Márquez. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. To date Rice has chalked up a .375 average with no home runs, driven in 16 runs and scored 20 times. |
