Reno Rookie Hits His Way to PL Honor Wednesday, June 1st , 2016 Youngster César Molina emerged as the latest Pioneer League Rookie of the Month today. The young man from Reno deserved the honor, batting .398 with 7 home runs and 27 RBI. Is the month of May a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Molina enjoy the limelight. Molina on the season is batting .312 with 9 home runs. His totals include 37 RBIs and 23 runs scored. He has played in 49 games. |
