CL Names Mexico City's Bailey Top Rookie Wednesday, June 1st , 2016 Luther Bailey earned May's Rookie of the Month honors in the Pacific Coast League for last month's performance. The boyish Mexico City second baseman might be wet behind the ears, but he's proving that he has what it takes to play at this level. Bailey hit .303 with 9 home runs, 25 RBIs and 15 runs scored this past month on his way to winning the award. So far on the season, Bailey is hitting .289 with 14 home runs, 42 RBIs and 32 runs scored. He has 56 hits and played in 50 games. |
