Lone Stars Move on to League Championship Series Wednesday, October 14th , 2015 Fans at Hogg Field saw the Wild Card Series come to a close today, as the Houston Lone Stars defeated the Kansas City Jacks by a score of 3-0, and advanced to the League Championship Series. Houston won the series 4-2 and will now continue their march toward the Series of the West. "It feels good to be moving on, I can't deny it," said left fielder Domingo Mendoza, who was named series MVP. "Not everyone thought we'd make it this far." The Houston Lone Stars will play against the Denver Grizzlies in the next round. Denver won their series against the Salt Lake City Locusts 4 games to 0.
