PL Young Buck Goes to Gibson Monday, November 2nd , 2015 The premier rookie performer in the Pioneer League was Salt Lake City right fielder Chris Gibson. He was honored today by league officials as the 2015 Young Buck winner. Gibson put up some good numbers, including a .298 batting average and .399 on-base percentage, while racking up 36 home runs, 97 RBIs and 104 runs scored. Tomás Meléndez of the Austin Cowboys finished second in voting, while Jeff Dunbar of the Dallas Eagles finished third. |
