Minneapolis Trades Veeck to Sacramento for King Monday, November 2nd , 2015 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Minneapolis Millers and the Sacramento Ironhorse have agreed to a deal that will have 26-year old RHP Donald Richter and 25-year old RHP Dirk Veeck heading to Sacramento in exchange for 34-year old RHP Ed Floyd, 29-year old minor league RF Don Jamison, and 23-year old minor league 3B Bruce King. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Over the course of his career, Veeck has a won-lost record of 27 wins and 27 losses with 350 strikeouts in 339 innings pitched with a lifetime 3.74 ERA. |
