Seattle Sends Jackson to Sacramento Monday, June 20th , 2016 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Rainiers announced today the acquisition of a 1st round draft pick, a 5th round draft pick, and a 6th round draft pick from the Sacramento Ironhorse in exchange for 30-year old LHP Charlie Jackson, a 5th round draft pick, a 6th round draft pick, and $8,000,000 in cash. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Rainiers, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." To date this year, in 14 starts, Jackson has crafted a 4-7 mark with a 3.83 ERA. |
