Seals Swap Hutchinson to Grizzlies for Alvarado Monday, June 20th , 2016 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the San Francisco Seals and the Denver Grizzlies have agreed to a deal that will have 20-year old minor league CF John Clark, 24-year old minor league 3B Wade Hutchinson, and a 3rd round draft pick heading to Denver in exchange for 38-year old RHP Cristo Alvarado. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Denver will retain a portion of Alvarado's remaining contract. Up to now Alvarado has recorded a record of 2-11. In 14 starts he has fanned 87 batters in 90.1 innings with a 5.08 ERA. |
