Seattle Rainiers Ship Sánchez to Kansas City Monday, June 20th , 2016 Seattle and Kansas City made a trade today. In this move, the Rainiers shipped 32-year old LHP Martín Sánchez, 20-year old minor league RHP Patrick Lundgren, and $2,200,000 in cash to the Jacks for a 4th round draft pick. The Seattle GM told reporters, "I think this trade is beneficial to everyone involved, including the players." This season, Sánchez has gone 5-3 with an ERA of 3.92, posting 70 strikeouts in 82.2 innings. |
