Cantú Gets CL Batter of the Month Trophy Friday, July 1st , 2016 It's perhaps an award he'll win many more times through his career, as at age 23 Manny Cantú has a lot of baseball ahead of him. But for now the young San Francisco Seals star can enjoy the numbers he put up in June, which have garnered him the nod as the Pacific Coast League Batter of the Month. His breakout month featured a .418 average with 9 home runs, 32 RBIs and 21 runs scored. So far this year, Cantú is batting .347 with 20 home runs, 71 RBIs and 42 runs scored. |
