Howard Best PL Starter in June Friday, July 1st , 2016 Pete Howard really strutted his stuff in June with 4 wins and 1 loss and walked off with the Pitcher of the Month Award in the Pioneer League. The Salt Lake City starter was good news for his club, but bad news for the opposition. In 36.2 innings of work, Howard limited opposing batters to 17 base hits and a .139 batting average.
