Seattle Deals Romero to Hollywood for Stafford Monday, July 4th , 2016 In a move that has fans in both cities buzzing, the Seattle Rainiers and the Hollywood Stars have agreed to a deal that will have 36-year old RHP Pedro Romero heading to Hollywood in exchange for 25-year old 2B Tony Bustamante, 18-year old minor league 2B Gregory Stafford, a 2nd round draft pick, and a 4th round draft pick. Provided they pass a physical, the players should be with their respective teams in time for tomorrow's games. Seattle will retain a portion of Romero's remaining contract. For the year, Romero has compiled a 6-6 record with a 3.56 ERA. |
