3 Roundtrippers for Lyons

Fans are still buzzing after Phoenix whipped the Salt Lake City Locusts by the score of 7-1 at Derks Field.
Kevin Lyons smashed three home runs in the contest, a feat that would be a career highlight for most players and few fans ever see. In a tremendous performance, the center fielder bashed out 5 hits in 5 at-bats, had 5 RBIs and scored 3 times.
At the postgame press conference, Lyons said it was an "unbelievable" feeling to hit three home runs in a game.
"Getting one homer is special, and two is great," Lyons said. "Three is just... wow."
Kevin Lyons hit a solo-shot off Matt Cook in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Matt Cook in the 5th, hit a solo-shot off Walt Taylor in the 7th and hit a two-run double in the 8th.
So far this season, Lyons has recorded a .320 batting average with 101 hits, 44 home runs, 91 RBIs, 68 runs scored and a .353 OBP.
